Mount Bromo National Park

Bromo tengger Semeru National Park is the one and only Indonesian conservatory, in which having a unique sand-ocean for about 5.250 hectares, and lies on ± 2.100 meters sea level.

Bromo national park has been the conservatory of some seldom/protected flora and fauna. Wild animal in this conservatory are :

  • fox (Pardofelis marmorata),
  • deer (Cervus timorensis ) and (Muntiacus muntjak ),
  • long-tail monkey (Macaca fascicularis),
  • red forest-chicken (Gallus gallus),
  • panther (Panthera pardus ),
  • fox (Cuon alpinus ); and
  • some kinds of birds like (Accipiter virgatus ), rangkong (Buceros rhinoceros silvestris), elang ular bido (Spilornis cheela bido), srigunting hitam (Dicrurus macrocercus), elang bondol (Haliastur indus), and
  • belibis which live in Ranu Pani, Ranu Regulo, dan Ranu Kumbolo.

Some among the flora in this national park :

  • jamuju (Dacrycarpus imbricatus),
  • cemara gunung (Casuarina sp.),
  • eidelweis (Anaphalis javanica),
  • some kinds of orchids, and
  • rare kind of grass called Styphelia pungieus.

  • This enormous Colosseum is located in Rome, Italy, and built from 70-82 Century. The name ‘colosseum’ was taken from a name ‘Colossus‘, a statue as high as 130 feet (40 meters). Colossus statue was rebuilt as an exchange of Nero, resemblance of Sol ( God of Sun), by adding sun crown on. In Italy, Colosseum is named il Colosseo, while in other part of Rome, colosseum is called e colisée and el coliseo. Colosseum also called Flavian Amphitheatre.
  • Colosseum is one of the world’s masterpiece. This site is said as the greatest and most spectacular stadium, with 48 meters high, 188 meters long, 156 meters wide, with the total area of 2.5 ha has made Colosseum looks very huge and wide. The arena is made of wood 86m x 54m, and covered by sand.
  • The reconstruction of Colosseum was made at 73C by Emperor Tirus, the youngest song of Emperor Vespasian.

Petra today has become one of the most exotic destinations in Jordan. Looking back at history, the name ‘Petra’ comes from Greek, which can be described as ‘stone’. The fact is, Petra is undeniably accessories with wonderful buildings and houses which made of stones. Petra is located in Wadi Araba, a stone dale in Jordan territory. It was mouth-to-mouth said that to build this town, it needed digging and carving the hard stones for as high as 40 meters.

Petra was approximately built at 9BC-40BC by King Aretas IV and has been pointed as the capital of Nabatean Empire. The stones architecture was chosen as the symbol of technology advancement and for protection against natural disaster like sandstorms. Not only that, the stones architectures also made it hard to be pierced by the enemy.
