The exotic Danau Rawa Pening (Lake Rawa Pening) can be seen alongside the primary road of Semarang to Salatiga District of Central Java, Indonesia. The beautiful sceenery of Rawa Pening is the main reason for the local government in conducting this spot as travel visitation area.

Rawa Pening of Semarang Indonesia holds a strong legend among people around the lake. It was believed that Rawa Pening in origin was a village. The legend of Rawa Pening was started from a young por boy named Jaka Baru Klinting came to the village, he was humiliated and under-estimated by the villagers who were all so arrogant and greedy. With the power of God, the young boy then put a magical broom stick, and holding a contest to pull out the broom stick. That time, no one is able to pull out the broom stick, in fact, Jaka Baru Klinting was the only person who could do that. With he willing of God, the hole of the broom stick then magically produce squirt water, over and over without able to stop. The water keeps on flowing from the spring and has made the village all buried by water.

Lake Wahyu locks up in Magetan – East Java, not so far from Lake Sarangan. Lake Wahyu is built intentionally as fishing spot, so many kinds of fish seeds have been scattered over the lake.

Lake Wahyu are often to be used for boy scout camping. Lake Wahyu has +/-10 Ha wide, with depth of about 16 metres. It has a cool weather and charming scenery . It will be nice as family site. A natural spring called ‘Sumber Tamtu”. The local people believed that by washing our body/part of our body will keep us to stay young.
